Quran Reading

Read the Quran fluently, start to finish.

Once the letters click, fluency is the goal. Students read the Quran page by page with a teacher correcting every mistake in the moment.

12–24 months Typical duration
30 min Per class, one-to-one
$50/mo From, no contract

Who this is for: Students who have finished Noorani Qaida or can already identify letters but read slowly, hesitantly, or with mistakes.

What you will be able to do

By the end of this course

These are outcomes, not topics covered. Your teacher will not sign a stage off until the student can genuinely do it.

  • Read any page of the Quran fluently and without hesitation
  • Apply the core Tajweed rules while reading, not as a separate exercise
  • Complete a full Nazra (cover-to-cover reading) of the Quran
  • Build the reading stamina that Hifz later depends on

Not sure this is the right course?

It is a common worry, and it costs nothing to settle. In the free trial your teacher assesses the student properly and tells you honestly which course fits — including when that means starting somewhere easier, or skipping ahead.

The programme

How the course is built

Four stages, each one taught until it holds. Nothing is rushed to keep a schedule.

1

Fluency drills

Short daily passages read aloud, with immediate correction. Repetition until it is effortless.

2

Rules in context

Tajweed introduced where it appears on the page — not memorised as abstract theory.

3

Juz by juz

Steady progress through all 30 juz, with revision built into every week.

4

Nazra completion

Finishing the Quran cover to cover — for most families, the milestone that matters.

Questions

Common questions about this course

You do not have to guess. Book the free trial class and the teacher will assess where your child actually is — not where their age says they should be. Most children who cannot yet read Arabic letters start with Noorani Qaida. If they can read but stumble, Quran Reading is usually right. We will tell you honestly, even when that means a shorter course than you expected.

Yes — a full week of free trial classes, no card details, no obligation. Your teacher meets the student, assesses their current level, and agrees a starting point with you. If you decide not to continue, that is genuinely the end of it. Nobody will chase you.

Yes. One student, one teacher — that is the whole point. A teacher who remembers that your child confuses ṣād and sīn is worth more than any curriculum. If a teacher is ever unavailable, we will tell you in advance and offer a swap or a reschedule; we do not silently substitute.

Yes, and you do not need to explain why. Say so when you enrol and your daughter, or you, will be taught by a qualified female teacher. This is a standing option, not a favour we grant when someone happens to be free.

Cancel whenever you like — there is no contract and no notice period. If you need to pause for exams, travel or Ramadan, tell us and we will hold your slot rather than make you re-enrol. Families move house and lives get busy; that is normal.

Let us know beforehand and we will reschedule it at no cost. Missed classes without notice cannot always be recovered, simply because your teacher held that half hour for you — but talk to us. We are reasonable about it.

Noorani Qaida

Your child learns to recognise every Arabic letter, say it correctly, and join letters into words. This is where reading the Quran actually begins.

Ages 8+ and adults 6–12 months

Tajweed

Tajweed is the difference between reading the words and reciting them properly. We teach the rules, then drill them until they are automatic.

Ages 7+ and adults 3–5 years (full Hifz)

Hifz

Hifz fails on revision, not memorisation. Every student gets a daily sabaq, a weekly sabqi, and a rolling manzil — the system that actually holds.

I really enjoy learning Quran with them. They are very professional and flexible. My teacher, Sister Umaima, has been so understanding, patient, and takes time to explain properly. Alhamdulillah. I am no longer afraid to learn Arabic because she makes it so easy. The 30 min sessions make the classes go by fast. I am very pleased with my journey so far and recommend to others to use FQE Academy.
