Where we came from

Free resources reached millions. They still were not enough.

FQE Academy comes from the team behind Free Quran Education, whose free materials have reached millions of learners around the world. We are proud of that work and it continues.

But the same message kept arriving. People had watched the videos, downloaded the guides, and worked through them honestly — and they were still stuck. Not because the material was poor, but because nobody was listening to them recite. They had no way of knowing what they were getting wrong, and a mistake nobody corrects becomes a habit that lasts thirty years.

So we built the one thing free resources cannot be: a real teacher, at an agreed time, who knows your name and hears every letter. That is all FQE Academy is. We did not add features on top of it, because there is nothing to add.

What we believe

That money should never be the reason someone cannot read the Quran — which is why our fees start at $40 a month and there is no registration fee, no materials fee, and nothing to sign.

That teaching the Quran badly is worse than not teaching it at all. We turn away most teachers who apply, and we would rather tell you we have no one suitable this month than hand your child to someone we are unsure about.

And that a parent should never have to wonder what happens in their child’s class. You may watch any lesson, unannounced, whenever you like. There is nothing in a class we would not want you to see.
